Common Questions
Is therapy right for me?
People go to therapy for a variety of reasons. They may be going through a difficult life transition or be struggling with a lifelong mental health challenge. Therapy offers a safe and non-judgemental space for anyone wanting to improve their life. It offers an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you uncover patterns that may be affecting your well-being. This journey encourages personal accountability while providing the support you need to navigate life's challenges. Therapy can help create meaningful changes while working towards a more fulfilling and authentic life.

What is therapy like?
In a therapy session, you can look forward to a tailored experience that centers on your specific goals and concerns. Therapists typically address the main issues impacting your life, fostering a supportive, atmosphere for open communication. individuals opt for a series of weekly sessions, each lasting about fifty minutes, which facilitates progress and reflection. It’s reassuring to know that therapy doesn’t have to be a long-term commitment; as you make strides, sessions can be spaced out, and together, you and your therapist will decide when to conclude or take break.
Ultimately, therapy provides a healing space while helping you gain new insights, develop effective strategies, and build resilience. To get the most out of therapy, it’s important to be an active participant both during and between sessions.
